How this is calculated
Rover's standard service-fee page lists a 20% provider service fee and an 11% owner booking fee. Rover's published tier pilot lists 30%, 15%, and 10% provider fees based on completed booking history with each client. On Tails, clients you bring yourself have a 0% provider fee for your first 3 months, then a flat 10% provider fee — the same as new bookings — and pet parents pay a 6% payment-processing fee. This calculator uses the booking subtotal before parent-side fees.

How do I calculate what to charge on Rover?
Start with the amount you want to keep, then divide by the provider take-home rate. For example, with a 20% Rover provider fee, divide the desired take-home by 0.80 to estimate the listed booking rate before the pet-parent booking fee.
